Serrhel G. Adams Jr., M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Adams is a board-certified ophthalmologist, and the longest fellowship trained Retina Specialist in Northwest Arkansas. He has been seeing patients since July 2008.

He attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA where he graduated with his Ph.D. He went on to graduate from West Virginia University Medical School where he completed his internship in medicine and pediatrics. He trained as an ophthalmology resident at Tulane University in New Orleans and then completed a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at the University of Florida.

Dr. Adams is active in the Northwest Arkansas community, loves all the outdoor offerings and is an avid Razorback fan except when they play LSU.

“I am constantly amazed at the people I have come to know during the tenure of my practice. The people of NWA and the surrounding areas are gracious and kind, even to an old LSU fan like me. I am fortunate and thankful that my life and professional path brought me to NWA. I have enjoyed learning about you, your families, and your interests. I look forward to many more years of assisting in your health and eye care needs.”
